Huawei files lawsuit against U.S. government

Huawei has officially filed a lawsuit to sue the U.s. government.

"The U.S. Congress has failed to produce any show to support its restrictions on Huawei products. Citing Section 889 of the 2019 National Defense Authority Human action, Guo explains the U.South. is banning the company, which would impairment both Huawei and customers in the U.Due south.

"The U.S. regime has long branded Huawei as a threat. It has hacked our service and stored our email and source lawmaking, and despite this, the U.S. regime has never provided whatsoever evidence supporting the accusation that Huawei poses a cybersecurity threat," he said.

Glen Nager, Huawei's lawyer, said the lawsuit has three distinct claims under the neb of attainder clause, the due process clause, and vesting clause.

"The lawsuit we take filed today raises objections that Section 889 violates the separation of power and constitutes legislation overreach," he said.

The lawsuit would come at the same time that Huawei global CFO Meng Wanzhou has sued the Canadian government, the RCMP and the CBSA.
